We’re happy to announce our point of sale software now has touch screen compatibility and we are now selling touch screen monitors. Touch screens make MerchantOS even easier and quicker. The screens will also help you eliminate the need for a mouse and soon the keyboard. If your interested, give us a call at 866 554 2453.

The new version of MerchantOS is ready for you to try! We’ve upgraded the system with an even easier to use interface, faster operations, and more touch screen support.

While I was talking to some new customers I realized that not all of the icons we have been using are obvious. For instance the delete/remove icon we’ve been using on the register has been a red ‘x’. I thought a more familiar icon would be a small trash can. Everyone is used to putting [...]

We know many of your are getting ready to count your inventory. We’ve just released a major over haul to our inventory counting feature. We hope that you are happy with the new process and that it saves you time. We’ll be adding a handy print out for those of you who don’t want to walk around with a laptop as soon as possible.

This new feature will allow you to quickly set the price of many items at once based on markup, margin, and discount from original. You will be able to permanently set item prices or set temporary price changes. Here are some examples of what you can do with the new feature:
