Accepting Credit Cards

MerchantOS can provide integrated credit card processing. Please read about Credit Card Processing and call us at 866 554 2453 for any additional details. You will not be able to process credit cards until your merchant account is connected to MerchantOS through the correct gateway.
[edit] Accepting A Credit Card
- Start a new sale on the register.
- Take Payment for the sale by pressing Done/Pay.
- Press the Credit Card button.
- Verify the amount to be charged then swipe the credit card through the MerchantOS recommended credit card reader.
- The register will seek authorization for the sale and will proceed to the receipt page or return reasons for declining the card on the payment screen.
- Once the receipt page is displayed, print the receipt and retain the customer signed copy for your records and provide the additional copy for the customer.
