Editing Inventory

The preferred method to update inventory levels is by performing a count using the MerchantOS Inventory Counts tool. The method below will allow you to edit an items inventory level for any individual item.

1. Press the Inventory button.
2. Press the Item Search button.
3. Run an item search to find the item you would like to adjust inventory for.
4. When you've found the correct item, press on the item description with the pencil icon to enter the item view.
5. Select the Inventory tab.
6. You will see a listing of all your inventory records. You may edit the quantity and/or cost in any line. It is important to note that your total quantity on hand is determined by summing up each line's quantity in the listing. Also your cost will be a weighted average of the costs found in the listing.
