The Catalog

MerchantOS can help you save time entering new items for your inventory with its catalogs. We maintain catalogs in several industries. When you search for items in MerchantOS you can find the item in a catalog and import all the information into your local data saving you the time and hassle of having to type it in yourself.
If you would like a catalog included in the system, call your vendor and have them email us a catalog at info [at] merchantos |dot| com. We prefer comma separated (.csv) or tab delimited format but also accept Excel format. It is mandatory for the catalog to contain item descriptions and vendor numbers. Any additional information the vendor can provide such as list price, cost, UPC, etc.. will add to your benefit and time savings.
You will notice the catalog results are kept separate from your business' inventory items. As long as your listing is enabled to show catalog results, you can access the catalog items by clicking on the catalog matches tab.
